Los Estoraques
This trip was made with a group of coworkers, in Ocaña a unique natural area in Colombia called "los estoraques" takes its name from a plant species called "Istoraque" (Styrax guianensis) todaynon-existent in the area for its indiscriminate use for medicine and making soaps. In the Storaques are observed desert characteristics product of erosion acceleration and a unique landscape beauty, for its millenarian formations. The wind and water have formed hundreds of geological forms among which there are columns, caves and innumerable pedestals.

We travel to the site by land, we travel by motorcycle, the recurring start in
The center of the city of Cúcuta towards the city of Ocaña, the trip lasted approximately four hours, we traveled early to avoid the vehicular traffic, since we had to take main roads, we made some stops to rest and eat a little.
